EDMONTON – The Alberta Division of the Canadian Union of Public Employees will hold a news conference today to release the results of a survey of their members in long term care and assisted living facilities.
The survey will show that in the eyes of the staff who work on the front lines of these facilities, conditions continue to be poor for most residents, in particular residents of assisted living who need more care than their facilities provide.
