LETHBRIDGE – Members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 290 will unveil ‘sock mountain” today at Park Meadows School.
The union, which represents employees of Lethbridge and area schools, have been collecting socks for local charities. The campaign has drawn in activity by school staff, parents, students and members of the public.
Today, union and local charity officials will be on hand to pass on this years’ collection. Media are welcome to attend.
