CALGARY – A breakthrough round of collective bargaining between the Canadian Union of Public Employees and Age Care Incorporated has given employees at a private Calgary long term care facility wages and working conditions on par with facilities operated by Alberta Health Services.
Sylvan Lake ambulance workers join CUPE
SYLVAN LAKE – Employees at Association Ambulance in Sylvan Lake, Alberta voted 65% in favor of joining the Canadian Union of Public Employees. The vote was counted last week after a protracted legal battle at the Alberta Labour Relations Board.
