Red DeerMuseum employees join CUPE

RED DEER – The employees of Red DeerMuseum are joining Canada’s largest union.By an 8-1 margin, the curators and visitor information staff voted to join the Canadian Union of Public Employees, CUPE.   

CUPE Alberta President D’Arcy Lanovaz said the group was motivated to join the union to protect their working conditions and benefits, particularly after the Museum attempted to change pension plans.
